Loungers Sets Rapid Expansion Pace with Ambitious 600-Site Target

Loungers, the parent company of popular hospitality brands Lounge, Cosy Club, and Brightside, is rapidly expanding its presence across the UK. This year, the company has maintained an impressive pace, opening a new site every 10 days. This expansion strategy is supported by the recent strengthening of its senior leadership team, which saw three key appointments earlier this month to bolster ongoing growth.

Since the beginning of 2024, Loungers has launched new venues in various locations, including Bromsgrove, Chepstow, Macclesfield, Westwood Cross, Bracknell, Ilkley, Sidcup, and Yeovil. Each new site represents a £1 million investment in the local high street and creates approximately 30 new jobs.
Alex Reilley, the chairman and co-founder of Loungers, emphasised the company's robust growth trajectory: "With a new site opening every 10 days so far this year across a wide variety of locations in the UK, Loungers continues to go from strength to strength with a fantastic pipeline ahead. We still firmly believe that there is scope for over 600 Lounges, and we are more excited than ever about the future of this business."
Looking ahead, Loungers will open 34 new sites in the current financial year, expanding its portfolio, including 35 Cosy Clubs, 219 Lounges, and three Brightsides.
