Top 10 Battling for 'Fish and Chip Restaurant of the Year'

The National Fish and Chip Awards 2024 has shortlisted ten UK fish and chip restaurants for the coveted "Restaurant of the Year" title.
These top 10 contenders impressed the judges with their commitment to environmental care, sustainable practices, customer service, and industry knowledge. They really proved they deserve their spot!
Andrew Crook, the awards coordinator and head of the National Federation of Fish Friers, highlighted the impressive efforts of these restaurants. He mentioned, "Despite industry challenges, these shops have shown incredible dedication to maintaining top-notch customer experiences. Their commitment to the beloved tradition of fish and chips is truly admirable."
Björgvin Þór Björgvinsson from Seafood from Iceland, who backs the award, also praised the finalists. He's thrilled with their excellence in every aspect of their business and their forward-thinking approach to seafood sustainability.
What's next for these spots? Experts in the field will conduct more reviews and surprise visits. From there, the list will drop to the top five. The ultimate winner will be revealed at a grand event in London's Park Plaza Westminster Bridge on February 28, 2024.
