Andrew Crook, President of the National Federation of Fish Friers, overseeing the awards, expressed his enthusiasm: "Newcomer of the Year is an inspiring category. These businesses have put their all into establishing solid foundations, forming excellent teams, and creating enticing menus. Their rapid success, especially in a challenging period for the industry, is what makes these shops the leading new additions to the UK's fish and chip scene."
Andrew Marriott, ADM/Frymax's UK Brand & Marketing Manager, also shared his thoughts: "ADM/Frymax is honored to sponsor the Newcomer of the Year award. Starting as a newcomer ourselves in 1954, Frymax is a testament to enduring quality over 70 years. Despite recent industry challenges, fish and chips remain the UK's beloved dish.
