The innovative concept will be introduced at The British & International Franchise Exhibition at Olympia London in West Kensington. This event, scheduled for early next month, represents a significant opportunity for Dine Brands to present its hybrid IHOP-Applebee's model to potential area developers and master franchisees in the UK.
Dine Brands is optimistic about this expansion after successful implementations in Canada, the UAE, and Kuwait. Enrique Kaufer, Vice President of International Franchise Development at Dine Brands Global, expressed excitement about the exhibition. "We are thrilled to participate in The British & International Franchise Exhibition and share our dual-branded concept, which has seen great success since our launch in other markets," he stated. Kaufer emphasized the event's importance in finding partners passionate about hospitality and interested in joining their growth journey.
IHOP, known globally as the International House of Pancakes, began in Los Angeles, California, in 1958 and now operates approximately 1,700 restaurants across the US. Applebee's, famous for its American cuisine like chicken, pasta, burgers, and riblets, first opened its doors in Decatur, Georgia, in 1980 and boasts around 1,500 restaurants in the US.
