Homemade Mint Raita: A Fresh and Creamy Indian Delight

It's quite possible to purchase a mint yoghurt sauce from a shop, but those ready-made sauces often sit on the shelf, forgotten. Typically a blend of water, oil, sugar, and flavours, they might be tossed onto a meal without a second thought. There's no real passion or enthusiasm about such sauces.
This homemade mint raita, on the other hand, is infused with love and authentic flavour. With a thick creamy yoghurt base, and enhanced by garam masala and ginger, it brings a warming kick to your palate.

What You Will Need
Ingredients | Quantity |
Thick Greek Yoghurt | 500g |
Minced Garlic Clove | 2 |
Minced Ginger | 2 Inch |
Fresh Coriander | 50g |
Fresh Mint | 50g |
Lime Zest & Juice | 1 Lime |
Garam Masala | ½ Teaspoon |
Cucumber, peeled and deseeded | 1/2 |
Method
1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor.
2. Blend to your desired consistency.
3. Pour into a bottle or jar, and refrigerate. It's as simple as that!
