​Jojo's Fish and Chips Crowned Mobile Operator of the Year 2024

Staffordshire's Jojo's Fish and Chips has been declared the top Mobile Operator of the Year at the National Fish and Chip Awards 2024. Jojo's emerged victorious amid stiff competition after a comprehensive evaluation by industry experts, showcasing the best among mobile fish and chip vendors.

The competition was fierce, with finalists including Country Fried from Blackburn, Lancashire, and Hungry Plaice from Holbeach, Lincolnshire. These contenders were put through rigorous tests, assessing their ability to serve local and remote customers on various scales, from intimate weddings to large corporate gatherings, all while upholding superior quality standards.

Andrew Crook, President of the National Federation of Fish Friers and awards organiser, praised the resilience and excellence of mobile operators, particularly highlighting Jojo's for their commitment to quality and adaptability. "Jojo's Fish and Chips stands out for its remarkable ability to maintain the highest standards of taste and quality, no matter the setting," he stated.

Further celebrating their win, Jojo's Fish and Chips has been extended an exclusive invitation to explore Norway's fishing industry in June. This educational trip includes a visit aboard the Østerfjord. In this cutting-edge fishing vessel, the team will delve into sustainable fishing practices and learn about sourcing high-quality seafood for the UK market.
