​Wingstop UK Sets Sights on Ambitious Growth in 2024

Since its UK debut in 2018, Wingstop UK has been on a steady trajectory of growth. In a significant development, Lemon Pepper Holdings, the master franchisee for Wingstop in the UK, has unveiled plans for its largest expansion to date. The year 2024 is set to witness the opening of nine new Wingstop locations, with negotiations underway for an additional six.

This ambitious expansion will see new Wingstop restaurants springing up in key locations, including Hounslow, Clapham High Street, Watford, Croydon Valley Retail Park, Wood Green, Lakeside Shopping Centre, Westfield Stratford City, Merry Hill, and a second site in Leeds. Notably, the brand is preparing to launch its largest restaurant at Stratford City Westfield. This flagship site, sprawling over 5,000 square feet and accommodating over 160 customers, will be strategically situated opposite the World Food Court on the first floor.

Tom Grogan, co-founder of Lemon Pepper Holdings, expressed his enthusiasm for this growth phase: " 2024 is going to be our biggest ever year of growth. We are proud to open nationwide and create up to 750 new jobs. In just five short years as a business, we have certainly made our mark, offering the best-tasting wings alongside an authentic and customized dining experience. Presently, Wingstop UK operates 39 sites nationwide and has a workforce of over 1,600 individuals. The expansion will further bolster its presence in the UK and generate up to 750 new employment opportunities.
