Posted by Stelios on 29th Apr 2024

We're thrilled to announce a significant expansion of the Ceres Podcast family, marking a new era of bringing you new voices and different opinions. Stelios, our sole host for seven seasons, has paved the way for a broader platform where fresh opinions and ideas thrive.

Four dynamic personalities from the fish and chip industry are joining the Ceres Podcast lineup, ready to ignite your curiosity and spark meaningful conversations. Keep your eyes peeled for new hosts in the future.

  • Kelly Barnes from Krispies in Exmouth
  • David Nicolaou from Auckley Friery in Auckley
  • Mark Petrou from Petrou Brothers in Chatteris
  • David Miller from Millers Fish & Chips in Haxby

Together, they bring their unique backgrounds and passions to the forefront, enriching our podcasting landscape with their vibrant perspectives.

Kelly Barnes enters the spotlight, injecting her infectious enthusiasm into every episode. As she delves into her guests' motivations and mental health, Kelly aims to inspire listeners and foster a deeper understanding of the human experience. Since winning Fish & Chip Shop of the Year in 2019, Kelly & husband Tim now have three Krispies outlets.

Mark Petrou brings his wealth of experience to the Ceres Podcast, interacting with his network of friends and hosting the Past Masters series. Focusing on industry insights and personal journeys, Mark aims to illuminate the path to success while sharing the wisdom of industry legends. Mark is a multi-award winner, notably winning the Fish & Chip Shop of the Year Award in 2006; alongside running his business, Petrou Brothers in Chatteris, he is a consultant and KFE School of Excellence Trainer.

David Miller joins Stelios on the new Master Class series and draws upon decades of experience in the Fish and chip industry to inspire and educate listeners. Through engaging discussions and practical advice, David champions continuous learning and skills development to achieve excellence. David has been in the industry for over thirty years and has been the head trainer at the NFFF Training School in Leeds for the last seven years.

David Nicolaou joins Stelios as co-host of the popular "Read The News" show, injecting fresh energy and perspectives into current affairs discussions. David is the award-winning owner of Auckley Friery, placed in the top ten of the Fish & Chip Shop of the Year Awards and consistently scoring 100% in the Fry Top 50 Awards.

We are excited to announce the four new hosts, but we are also launching the PodSquad Roundtable, which promises lively discussions among all hosts. It will offer listeners a front-row seat to diverse viewpoints and spirited debates between all the hosts.

As the Ceres Podcast expands its horizons, we invite you to join us on this journey of discovery, inspiration, and connection. Tune in to our latest episodes and be part of the conversation shaping the future of podcasting
