Heavy-duty 44L chipping basket designed for faster potato prep, efficient rinsing, and cleaner commercial workflows
SKU:
CS-BCB44

The Blue Chipping Basket is an essential prep tool for fish and chip shops looking to improve workflow, reduce mess, and handle potatoes and chips more efficiently.

Traditional potato preparation often involves repeated scooping, lifting, rinsing, and transferring between sinks and containers. This slows production, increases water usage, and creates unnecessary handling during busy periods.

This heavy-duty 44 litre basket simplifies the entire process by allowing operators to wash, rinse, drain, lift, and transport potatoes or chips quickly in one controlled system, improving speed and consistency across the prep area.

Its perforated design encourages fast drainage and effective de-starching, while the integrated handles make lifting and moving product safer and easier during high-volume production.

Why operators use it

  • Faster prep workflow: reduces unnecessary scooping and transferring
  • Improved rinsing: helps remove excess starch efficiently
  • Lower water usage: creates a more controlled washing process
  • Cleaner work areas: keeps chips and potatoes contained and organised
  • Easier handling: lift, drain, and move product with minimal effort

Built for commercial potato preparation

  • Large 44 litre capacity for high-volume prep
  • Manufactured from durable food-safe HDPE
  • Heavy-duty construction for daily commercial use
  • Integrated handles for strength and control
  • Suitable for peeling, rinsing, de-starching, and chip handling

Designed specifically for fish and chip shop workflows, the Blue Chipping Basket helps operators improve consistency while reducing labour, mess, and wasted time during potato preparation.

A simple upgrade that delivers faster prep, better workflow, and more efficient potato handling every day.

These are so good, prepping around 50 bags of spuds a week so they are a lifesaver.

    What did we do before

Posted by Anna Kowalski on 15th Apr 2026

We do around 180 bags of potatoes a week, before this we would have barrels and barrels of chips prepped, now we dont have to at all.. fresh as we go, chips dry as a bone, perfectly fried chips on demand.

    Chipping made easy!

Posted by Kav Tabrizi on 10th Mar 2026

Wasnt sure how to use at first, but its really basic, keep one barrel full of water for de-starching and another with P1 chip prep and just keep using baskets. No need to fill up 8 barrels of water.
